IBM lists the 570 (POWER6) among supported models. The Power 520 and Power 550 Redbooks do not list #1483.
Before you order 1483
An expansion drawer adds slots or drive bays when the server itself is full. It is often the difference between upgrading a Power 6 and replacing it.
