IBM i's formatting uses eight extra bytes per sector, which is why it holds 139.5 GB against 146 GB for the AIX/Linux drive. IBM's suggested IBM i Express and Solution Edition configurations for the 8203-E4A use six #3677 drives, and the 8204-E8A Express Edition pairs #4328/#3677. REDP-5052 lists it on the 570 (POWER6).
