CPW
IBM's relative performance benchmark for IBM i systems, used to compare processing capacity across different Power hardware generations and models.
CPW is IBM's relative performance rating for comparing IBM i processing capacity across hardware. It's relative, not an absolute transaction count, so a Power6 rating is only meaningful as a ratio against another system's CPW rating using the same methodology.
